GITIS project “Russian Theatre School Abroad” is taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
GITIS practitioners are conducting professional development courses for their colleagues from the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan, as well as for actors, theatre directors, and other theatre specialists.
Ksenia Kazakevich and Maria Orel from the department of acting are leading a series of workshops on acting. Senior teacher Tatyana Tarasova from the drama directing department is working on the variety of aspects of theatre directing, and Ekaterina Granitova-Lavrovskaya, a senior lecturer from drama department is guiding through the theory and practice of theatre pedagogy.
Upon completion of the program, participants will receive GITIS training certificates.
