GITIS Opens Its First Far Eastern Branch in Blagoveshchensk.
On July 27, GITIS launched its first Far Eastern branch — a new center for creative education and culture in the Amur Region.
This important step, taken at the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, marks a key stage in the development of the region’s cultural landscape and continues the national program to establish creative clusters across the Russian Far East.
This year, admissions opened for two academic programs: Performing Arts Producing and Sound Engineering.
The branch’s opening also reflected a spirit of international cooperation. On July 26, the launch of the Far Eastern branch was officially presented in China during the opening ceremony of the 15th International Russian-Chinese Fair of Culture and Art.
